September 7, 2022What happened that I can't get past level 60?! Has the author not finished the book?! If not, then let your reader's know!!! You just left us hanging!!! Do I have to subscribe to Galatea and pay to finish rhe book???!!! It's bad enough that you have to wait 6 hours between chapters!!! Why can't you just have us watch a 30 to 60 second ad between chapters instead???!!!

I paid a large sum of money and I read the 61 chapters to find that it isn't the full story. I feel frustrated. I need to know what will happen next. It's not cool at all to feel hanged up in this way. What will happen? We need more chapters about the gathering of the heroes: bell and grayson....

DNF I’m not shelling out big bucks to buy unlimited when similar stories are going for 1.99 to 3.99 on amazon. If Galatea had a 30-60 second add to buy the next chapter that would be cool but as it is it feels really greedy and scammy. Just skip it and support an author that uses a less predatory platform
The first 7 chapters were interesting and I would have loved to continue but..
It is only available on Galatea and the wait time to read all the locked chapters is 204 HOURS!! That means the minimum time to read it for free is 8.5 days if you set an alarm for every 6 hours. Or 34 days if you click once a day. That’s insane.

Shelved as 'dnf-try-again-later'
June 27, 2022DNFing this Wattpad book, until the series is complete. (Self note: stopped at chapter 19/61- there’s an incomplete book 2). This book is apparently #1 in “possessive” in Wattpad, and yup, the Alpha werewolf H was totally OTT “mine” about the h, so if you’re into crazy Hs then check this out. The h is a virgin. I didn’t get any immature vibe about the h in the beginning, but I did later on. It’s Wattpad, the author might really be a 14yr old girl after all. The h was calling sex “that” and had this naive thing about her which I find annoying, but then again, I find virgins in modern romance annoying so it’s prolly just me. Still recommend it, it’s one of the better Free Wattpad stories. It felted like a 4-5 stars book.

Love this storyline, but am disappointed in not being able to read the second book. I believe Galatea is behind this. I've been waiting a year for them to put it out.

A really good story, bearing in mind the werewolf stories I avoid because they are not my favorite ones.
I found it under the name "Beautiful Belle and Alpha Grayson" in Wattpad but unfortunately, it was moved to Galatea platform as an audiobook.
I can't wait to read/hear the second book.
I will probably order it soon just to have it on paper as well.

It is a good story and all. But it is frustrating how short the chapters are and how irrelevant some of it seems.

Hated the part where she was abused by the vampire but glad the guys helped her escape. Listened to the audio book until book 1 chapter 61. Now is says more chapters coming soon.

I'm very cranky I can't find the sequel to see how this book's story ends. This alone makes me drop my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Don't start something you don't intend to finish. I believe the app Galatea by Inkitt has something to do with this and maybe with putting it out there something will happen.

This is a rating for both books to review the entire story. First - finding this to read for free online and not have to use some stupid app where I had to watch ads and am only allowed to read a chapter a day, which is bullshit, was a bitch. I try very very very hard to not let those suck me in for this exactly reason. I don’t wanna work that fucking hard to be able to read a book, especially when I have KU. But that’s what happens when the first like 30% was available on a sponsored ad on Facebook and sucks you in. So I was able to find two place I could read these books, one was a PDF and the other had each chapter posted individually and you’d click to the next one. There were a few difference in both versions because both were poorly translated version using Google translate, so some of the terminology or word choices were different. Which, side note was kind of funny. Like, in one version he’s yelling ‘Fuck’ and in the other he’s yelling ‘Cum’ when it has nothing to do sex. Also, on the chapter-by-chapter site, it was choppy and every few paragraphs there was a sentence where the words were completely out of order so it didn’t make any sense. Or the sentence wasn’t complete, it just stopped randomly. I went back and forth between the two sites when the sentences got jumbled up and confusing or things just didn’t make sense. Now for the actually story. Honestly, it wasn’t spectacular writing, but I’ve read worse. Definitely kind of a roller coast of emotions at times, while also being a bit infuriating. Belle had some annoying traits. In Paris, Belle annoyingly goes back and forth between wanting to stay with Grayson and wanting to run away from him. It just became annoyingly dragged out. Then in Maine after Grayson finds here again, insisting she doesn’t wanna hear him out - ok, I get it. She was hurt and terrified, but it just felt too dragged out. Then after they’re on good terms again, she insists on continuing to go to her shitty underpaid waitressing job where she works like 16 hours while having to wear a skimpy dress and fucking heels. Like, girl really?? You’re not staying there obviously. It’s not like Grayson’s moving there to wherever-the-fuck Maine being King and all.
The dramatic change in Grayson after they return to his pack house was rough. Obviously something was wrong with him because it made no sense why he would be so indifferent and cruel towards Belle, but it really made me hate him. It was hard to read how scared and lonely and unwanted Belle felt. She felt broken, unloved, and used. It was just heartbreaking, she believed it was her fault he didn’t want her or love her, that she must have done something wrong to make him reject her - god it was devastating. Could really feel the range of emotions.
This similar rejected/unwanted self doubt pattern happened again once they were in Zaweth, and Grayson was worried about the prophecy saying Belle would shifting into a fae once they completed the mating process. Instead of telling her, he just put off sex for what sounds like weeks, maybe months. The mating bond was basically driving them crazy since they hadn’t completed the process and he didn’t think he’d be able to control himself being around her, so he’d be constantly ‘working’ and avoided her, and when they were intimate, he would never let it get far enough to intercourse, shutting her down over and over again. She started to feel rejected again, that he was getting bored of her, didn’t love or want her like she loved and wanted him. She felt like a burden, clingy, pathetic and humiliated, like she was doing something wrong, again. It was devastating. This was also extremely dragged out. There was several chapters that just became extremely repetitive with this cock tease-sexual frustration-rejected dance they were doing.
This could have been condensed into a single book IMO. Not sure if the series with continue. It has a HEA with the end of the second book, but it said “End of Book 2…” on the last page after the epilogue, so not sure if that means the author will continue the series. I probably won’t continue cause, again, I’m not of fan of having to dig through the internet for a place to read the full book for free. There are also other really good werewolf/bonded mates/fantasy tropes that are much easier to access.

I started reading this because of the incessant instagram ads and it wasn’t even a fraction of what it was built up to be. This was my first werewolf book and I guess the trope just isn’t for me. I thought the writing was clumsy and character building was weak. There was also no resolution to the book, it was entirely build up to the next book.

This book had me in an absolute chokehold. The love story within this was written so beautifully (call me traumatised but I loved it), and whilst some of the twists were a little bit predictable, I couldn’t wait to read what was actually going to unfold. 50/10 would recommend.

So good! From the first chapter until the end I was drawn in wanting more! A mix between 50 shades of gray and twilight. Only vampires are not the focus but instead werewolves.

Looking forward to reading the next book as I feel the story only truly got interesting at the “end” of this one. Definitely not a complete story more like the author split one story into two books not like writing two books in a series.

I'm reading this currently and I wonder why people pay a big amount of money to read each chapter of this stupid shitty book full of smut and kiss her kiss him bs, so it starts with belle (so she has to be beautiful like her name says) she's on a plane to Paris and she meets a handsome man that she feels awkwardly attracted to him so instead of introducing herself to him and he introduce himself to her normally, she's all clingy like a koala on a tree all the time on the plane and he literally bites her after trying to kill a man on the plane and the police never showed up and he took her just like that to the hotel where clearly no one works there because she screamed and cried all the time and no one showed up to clean the room or anything so that they notice the kidnapped women
there's nothing in it that deserves this amount of money this should be on wattpad or inkitt for free or on google

It is not terrible. I did not like the repetitive nature of the threat. We solve one problem and the same problem with a different person joins in. We solve it, and boom the same problem yet again but another person.

LOOK. I am embarrassed. Absolutely embarrassed that I read this smutty werewolf/mate fantasy series. Normally I'd just shrug it off and wouldn't let it bother me, but sometimes I can't help but be curious. It's not that these types of stories are inherently bad, it's more that the writing is the cringiest of the cringe and contains the smuttiest of the smut. It's not there for the plot or the story, it's there for quick guilty pleasure, sexually indulgent speed reads. But—I didn't hate it. I KNOW, I KNOW. It wasn't the most awful thing I've ever read. The characters were (eventually) kind of likable. The writing was never phenomenal, the plot never award-worthy, but the romance wasn't all that terrible (please let it be clear that it wasn't what I would call good, either). Summary: The first book was eye-rolling bad. There was NO character development. It was pre-pubescent Twilight attraction at its finest. Nothing made sense. Guy kidnaps girl. Girl can't stop touching guy. But girl inherently knows its wrong... because guy kidnapped her, and she shouldn't want to touch/kiss/sleep with a guy who kidnapped her... right? (I was fully questioning my reading choices at this point). It's a weird sort of Beauty and the Beast retelling with Stockholm Syndrome in full effect. But... as the series progressed... I don't know. Decent writing, a decent editor, and some deep changes, and it would be decently readable. It would still be nothing but a guilty pleasure indulgent read, but it would have a little bit of substance to it that could carry it through.
"Belle doesn’t even know that shifters exist. On a plane to Paris she meets Alpha Grayson, who claims she belongs to him. The possessive alpha marks Belle and takes her to his suite where she tries desperately to fight off the passion building inside her. Will Belle be persuaded by her desires, or can she hold her own?"

Don’t Even Bother…
Thought this would be a fun book to read, wasn’t looking for anything to crazy. I saw a couple of advertisement for this on Facebook and thought, heck why not. Downloaded 3 different apps to get me nowhere. One app (Inkitt) only got to chapter 5 and then had notifications from the author to go to another app to start book 2!!!! What happened to the rest of the book??? Fine then, I’ll go ahead and download the other app (Galatea). Yeah…gets you to Chapter 6…wow…and the app wants you to subscribe. You have to pay for each chapter after that, thank god I didn’t. Forget that!!!! Oh!!! AND each app is written differently. What happens in the chapter vary depending on which app you are in, not even the advertisement was the same!!!!!
For what I did read…it was a lot of everything, all at once, with nothing to really keep the interest. I’ve had my fair share of books that aren’t the greatest or just starting off authors but this was just…meh. Barely meh. A lot of repetitive wording and scenes to get going on this book. And this just only based off 6 chapters.
I mean, go ahead and try, but just be warned, you’ll pay more per chapter than getting a full book.
