Even the overpowered scary male leads have things they're not experts in. Child-raising. That said, when they do -- it's wholesome and comedic -- and they're usually the best at it. Anya and Yaeka are the cutest children with great voice actors who get across their youthful energy. If you're looking for clearer skin and a light easy anime that has beautiful art - this is the one for you.

Buddy Daddies addpermalink

A gansters story, cute little girl, paternity… if you like this subjects, these both series will be of your like. However, just remember that the tone of both is completely different: Kumichou is almost full slice of life, while Buddy Daddies is action and comedy.

Protagonists are both linked to the Yakuza as either ex-Yakuza or current Yakuza, but rather than seeing much of their violent side, they demonstrate their softer side as they become a babysitter / househusband filled with comedy.

Deaimon addpermalink

First of all, we focus on the topic. Both has same "babysitting/caretaker" theme.Main protagonists are adult men. The difference is Deaimon guy, Nagomu is carefree while Yakuza's guide to babysitting guy, Tooru is reckless. Both guys takes care of little girl who are not their own biological child. Both series consist of 12 episodes. Same genre, slice of life. Episodic series where mostly, one episode is not related to another episode .Both are heartwarming series although YGTB (I call it that from now) has a bit portion of drama and violence. This is probably due to the title says "Yakuza" in it.Both little girls have similar name, &nbspread more

The idea is pretty simular - small girl suddenly comes under a care of alone-living man. Not even the idea, but even the show - smiles, tears, adventures, worries, contacts with true parents, helping mates... all just looks like born from one source. But its not bad, because the main thing, thing you will like for sure, is the relations of The Man and The Little Girls, their nature and characters.

Aishiteruze Baby★★ addpermalink

Another anime where the lead character takes on the role of a parent, completely out of the blue. Lots of cute moments between the two, a little lighter on the comedy in Aishiteruze Baby, however are great!

These shows are very similar in sense that, both girls try to make friends and both guardians can beat up anyone try to hurt these girls. But the main reason for recommendation is that they both give a same wholesome vibe.

These are two anime that are chill and basically make you want children. In the two case the MC is someone with a good hearth. Personally I have passed a really good time watching both. And that was really calm for the majority of those show even if there is one or two episode in both that make me fill less chill, because there are moment with serious business.

They are both anime with cool yakusa that make you wonder if they are evil. But they don't share anything in common except that. But I still recommend them both because they are chill anime that make you pass a good time and sometimes laugh.

The idea is pretty simular - small girl suddenly comes under a care of alone-living man. But its not bad, because the main thing, thing you will like for sure, is the relations of The Man and The Little Girls, their nature and characters. The difference is in small difference in gernes: Kurenai is an action, with fights and small amount of blood, and Usagi Drop is much more passive, with only routine, very fine routine.

Surprised this wasn't the first recommendation. Kumichou is like watching the younger years of Banken-kun. Just seeing the first episode my first thought was Kumichou.

Both series are comedic-flavored slice of life series that illustrate the ways familial bonds can go beyond blood ties.

Barakamon addpermalink

Anime where an older character has a close familial/parental bond with a young girl, and the experience changes their views on things. Both have great animation, comedy, and are wholesome as hell. Will definitely make you smile :]

Fruits Basket 1st Season addpermalink

Both feature wholesome slice-of-life content centered around a single large family (that is usually but not always functional). Both series' soundtracks are also similar in that they are uplifting and help bolster their respective scenes. Dub voice acting is stellar in both these titles.

Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi addpermalink

Guy that looks cold on the outside but actually isn't ends up taking care of a kid who is sort of lonely and going through a hard situation. Other adults around end up also taking care of the kid and they all form a very cute bond that will probably give you tears.
